How to request deletion of your data
Email support@barqia.net from the address registered on your account, with "Data deletion" in the subject. We verify your identity and complete the request within 30 days. You may also contact us inside the platform to request deletion of your account and data.
What gets deleted
On approval we delete your account data: profile, WhatsApp connection data (encrypted keys), and the contacts, conversations, templates and campaigns you manage through the platform. We may retain minimal billing records where legally required.
Data of a business's own customers
If you are a customer of a business that uses Barqia, we process your data on that business's behalf. To request deletion, contact that business directly, or write to us and we will route your request to them.
Meta / WhatsApp data
WhatsApp is linked via Meta's official API. On account deletion we unsubscribe our app from your WhatsApp Business Account and delete the tokens we stored. Data inside your own Meta account remains under your control on Meta's platform.
